What is a 360 classroom?
Click below to read about one structured format for a white-board classroom, and what research has to say about it. (This is a page for teachers to learn more about 360 and to also sign up for training, but it has a lot of research-based data on the effectiveness of this set-up.)

Hear why one middle school class loves the style...
These kids love the style for variety of reasons. (This is in a middle school math classroom.)
Here's what one teacher had to say.

Why do I embrace 360?
I'm always looking for research-based ways to increase engagement. Once I went to a professional development session that illustrated the benefits of a 360 classroom for instruction and engagement, I was hooked. The most difficult aspect of this instructional reform was financing the set-up (I bought a lot of the additional whiteboards) and making room on the walls so that each student gets his or her own space. The investment has been well worth it.
So far, I've noticed that my students are more engaged, collaborate enthusiastically, take mathematical risks, think about their own thinking more, and make corrections based on feedback. I am able to instantly assess where my students are, give immediate feedback, and better differentiate my instruction based on how each student is doing. I really enjoy it even though I'm on my feet a lot more! So far, the feedback from my students has been overwhelmingly positive.
